Applications for admission to the Master of Mechatronics - Mechanical Engineering program must be submitted online using the standardized application form accompanied by the required documents within the period stipulated.

Multiple Applications Accepted!

In response to repeated requests we have the pleasure to inform you that applicants are welcome to apply for more than one study program at the same time (multiple applications) as long as a plausible rationale is given. In this case, students can make a final decision after completion of application procedures.

Requirements

The Master program in Mechatronics & Smart Technologies is open to graduates of Bachelor and Diploma programs in the fields of engineering/engineering science or natural sciences whose curricula involve at least 75 relevant ECTS points. The decision on the acceptability of prior qualifications is taken by the Program Director.

This Master program is an ideal follow-on such Bachelor programs as Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering & Management, as well as Environmental Engineering, Process & Energy Engineering. Admission will also be considered for graduates of study programs whose curricula correspond to the prerequesites mentioned above in the field of Production Engineering, Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Recognition of previous qualifications

Applications for recognition of examinations or credits obtained through other study programs or previous scientific experience must be submitted to the Program Director. A decision will only be taken in cases where the application for admission has met with a positive decision. Recognition of credits or previous experience is only granted for individual classes in the program.
