Academic Requirements
The programme is designed for professionals from a variety of backgrounds who work with young children from birth, including those involved in education, health and social services as well as for those who are involved in developing the early years workforce such as further education college lecturers, and for non-professionals who have a particular interest in the early childhood field. Applicants are invited from individuals who either have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Social Policy, Social Administration or Health Studies, or have a degree in another discipline and an interest in Early Childhood Studies, or have a comparable professional award plus relevant experiential learning.
Applicants not meeting the normal entry requirements may be required to take a qualifying assignment and/or present a portfolio of documentary evidence of intellectual and professional development resulting from prior experiential learning.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
