Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to the Vanderbilt University Graduate School. The minimum requirement is a Bachelor\'s degree or its equivalent (preferably with a major in economics) and a grade average of B \xc2\xa0or equivalent.\xc2\xa0

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a requirement for admission to the Vanderbilt University Graduate School. All students applying to the GPED must take the GRE general test.\xc2\xa0There is no fixed requirement for GRE scores.
The following are required for online application for admission:

- Unofficial copy of transcripts from all universities previously attended
- Copy of undergraduate diploma (and graduate diploma if applicable)*
- Official GRE and TOEFL scores
- Statement of Purpose
