Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (in French, German, Spanish or Latin)
  • 2.7 cumulative minimum undergraduate GPA
  • C or better in undergraduate prerequisite education courses and field experiences
  • C or better in prerequisite content courses or
  • OPI and WPT exams with score of “advanced low” or better on each (Ohio Assessments for Educators exam not required - At this time, there is no state required exam for Latin, therefore, we will require candidates to take the Praxis II Exam in Latin, test code 5601, with a target qualifying score of 150. In addition, an oral interview will be required with a program faculty person.)

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
