Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Australian & NZ students
A three-year bachelor degree or equivalent with a CWA of at least 70.
Three subjects (units) at Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent (Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 7): Human musculoskeletal anatomy, human biology/physiology and health research methods or evidence-based practice. Study of psychology is desirable.
You are required to have a current Senior First Aid Certificate or equivalent and a swimming qualification (Bronze medal or Aquatic Rescue Award, as per Australian Royal Lifesaving awards or equivalent) and criminal record screening prior to enrolment in Semester 1 units.\xc2\xa0You do not need to satisfy these requirements at the time of application.
International students
A bachelor degree and completion of units in musculoskeletal anatomy, psychology and human biology or physiology at university level. A course weighted average of 70 per cent or greater is required to be eligible to apply. Study of units in research methods or evidence based practice, physics and statistics is desirable. Selection is a competitive process as places are limited.
