Program Curriculum

Course Structure

  1. The master degree comprises core and elective courses. You will be able to select six electives that can both deepen and broaden your knowledge of marketing, and will complete a practice-based marketing research project.
  2. The online master degree comprises 12 core courses, delivered across six study periods, allowing you to focus on one course at a time.
  3. In both delivery models, you will explore a complex problem, and test and evaluate potential solutions with industry and community stakeholders in the compulsory course, Business Research Design.

You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or higher level qualification in any discipline and evidence of a minimum 1 year full-time (or equivalent) work experience in a business or marketing role.

1.5 year duration

You must have successfully completed:

An Australian Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in Business (or a related discipline) and evidence of a minimum 1 year full-time (or equivalent) work experience in a business or marketing role;

OR

The RMIT Graduate Certificate in Marketing.

Selection tasks

Statement: You must include with your application a statement outlining your work experience in a business or marketing role. A reference letter from your employer should also be provided with your statement.

English language requirements
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
