Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- The master degree comprises core and elective courses. You will be able to select six electives that can both deepen and broaden your knowledge of marketing, and will complete a practice-based marketing research project.
- The online master degree comprises 12 core courses, delivered across six study periods, allowing you to focus on one course at a time.
- In both delivery models, you will explore a complex problem, and test and evaluate potential solutions with industry and community stakeholders in the compulsory course, Business Research Design.

Academic Requirements
2 year duration
You must have successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) or higher level qualification in any discipline and evidence of a minimum 1 year full-time (or equivalent) work experience in a business or marketing role.
1.5 year duration
You must have successfully completed:
An Australian Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in Business (or a related discipline) and evidence of a minimum 1 year full-time (or equivalent) work experience in a business or marketing role;
OR
The RMIT Graduate Certificate in Marketing.
PrerequisitesNone
Selection tasksStatement: You must include with your application a statement outlining your work experience in a business or marketing role. A reference letter from your employer should also be provided with your statement.
English language requirements- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
