Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants to the M.Sc. in Educational Leadership program are required to complete and submit the online application form available at Nazarbayev University website, as well as a complete package of admission documents.
Applicants applying to the M.Sc. in Educational Leadership program are expected to have:
- a notarized copy of identity card or passport;
- diplomas and transcripts from undergraduate and (if applicable) postgraduate education (minimum GPA is 2.75);
- IELTS certificate. IELTS minimum score for admission 6.5 (with sub-scores not less than 6.0); If IELTS overall score is 6.0, candidates may apply for the program. If the application meets the requirements of the program and is recommended by the Admissions Committee, the candidate attends a 4-week intensive course of English at NU (mid-July-mid-August) and may be recommended for admission after successful completion of the course. This course is tuition free, although candidates are not provided with stipend and accommodation during these 4 weeks.
