You must also be accepted by the Department of Educational Psychology for a specific degree program. The Department will automatically receive a copy of your Graduate School application when the Graduate School approves your admission. Please submit the following items directly to the Educational Psychology:
  • A vita or resume detailing education and work experience as well as relevant personal experience.
  • An essay of 750 words on the topic M.Ed. candidates topic: “My Reasons for pursuing graduate study in Educational Technology”
  • Official transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Recommendations from three faculty or other persons who can provide information about (a) your potential for graduate study, and (b) your interpersonal skills. If you have been employed full-time, one reference may be from your immediate supervisor. Have letters of reference sent directly to the Educational Psychology Department (see below).
  • Students applying for the M.Ed. program must also provide a statement signed by you that you have not been convicted of a felony. This is requested by the State of Ohio for certification to practice in the schools.
