Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering applicants with a B.S. degree in either electrical or computer engineering, and a grade point average of 3.00 technical courses will be directly considered for admission.
- Applicants with a B.S. in either electrical or computer engineering with a grade point average in their coursework below 3.00 but higher than 2.75 may be granted conditional admission status.
- M.S. applicants with electrical or computer engineering B.S. degree from a non-ABET accredited\xc2\xa0university\xc2\xa0must submit official GRE scores. An applicant whose B.S. degree is from a university in a country where English is not the native language must provide proof of\xc2\xa0English language proficiency.
