Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.75 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Educational qualifications:
The qualifications required for admission to the Master\'s Degree Programme in Electrical Engineering are listed below:
- Applicants must hold a BEng/BSc degree that is equivalent to a bachelor\'s degree according to the Finnish system of higher education and has taken at least three years/180 credits of full-time study to complete.
- The degree must be conferred by an internationally recognized university that is listed in the latest edition of the International Handbook of Universities.
- The field of the BSc degree should be electrical or electronics engineering or another discipline related to the programme, providing applicants with proficiency in mathematics, physics and computer science.
- The overall grade (CGPA) of the degree should be at least 70 % of the maximum marks.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
