Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 2.75

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.75 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Applicants for the M.Ed. program in elementary education must present evidence of:

  1. A bachelor\'s degree in education from an accredited university; and

  2. A grade point average of 2.75 or higher for the last 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) contributing toward the bachelor\'s degree.

Admission to the Master of Education program is contingent upon admission to the graduate school. Applications for the Master of Education Degree are available in the Graduate Education Office, Room 489 Education. Students entering this program should consult with an advisor before taking any courses.
