Teaching is aligned to the Membership in Endodontics collegiate specialty membership examination curriculum at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh , and you will be eligible to sit this examination upon successful completion of the course.

Course overview
Enhance your clinical skills and knowledge relevant to your practice or interest in endodontic dentistry. Teaching is aligned to the Membership in Endodontics collegiate specialty membership examination curriculum, and you will be eligible to sit this examination. Admission Requirements
Entry requirements
We require a primary dental degree from a recognised institution. You should also have at least two years of recent general professional practice experience.
English language
International students must demonstrate English proficiency through a secure and approved testing system. We ask for English language proof if you are from non-majority English speaking countries (a list of majority English speaking countries, as defined by the UK Home Office, can be found here ). Specifically, we require a minimum of: IELTS : 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in all components See further information about requirements for your country .
English language test validity
Some English Language test results are only valid for two years. Your English Language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.

Fees
For entry in the academic year beginning September 2026, the tuition fees are as follows: MSc (full-time) UK students (per annum): £28,400 International, including EU, students (per annum): £62,500
The fees quoted above are fully inclusive of tuition, administration and computational costs. Fees for entry are subject to yearly review. The University reserves the right to increase your tuition fee by up to 7% each year for courses lasting more than one year, including to reflect rising costs associated with delivering our educational and wider student experience. Postgraduate fees information . Always contact the admissions team if you are unsure which fee applies to your qualification award and method of attendance. International student CAS deposit Self-funded international applicants are required to pay a deposit of £2500 towards their tuition fees before a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) is issued. Policy on additional costs
All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme. Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the programme in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to you at the point of application.
