Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Admissions Requirements
- A bachelors degree in engineering or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of B average in upper-level undergraduate work, or a graduate degree from an accredited institution
- Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the last 60 hours of upper division coursework. The applicant whose GPA does not meet the minimum GPA requirement may be considered for conditional admission.
- Good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities.
Admissions Documents

- Official transcripts from all previously attended universities. A copy of the diploma is needed if the degree is not posted on the transcript.
- A resume including education, training, and employment history, practical and research experience (such as projects and publications), skills and other pertinent information.
- A statement of objective in which the applicant must clearly state his/her intended engineering track, in addition to other information.
- Three letters of recommendation must be sent. Letters are to be from those who have knowledge of the applicant\'s prior professional experience (e.g. a supervisor) or of the applicant\'s ability to perform graduate work (e.g., a professor) and should attest to the applicant\'s intellectual ability, motivation, maturity, and potential.
- Florida residents: copies of two (2) documents confirming that you have maintained residence in Florida for the past 12 months.
