Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Professional Master of Science and Engineering Management Requirements:

Potential students must have the following:

  • Bachelors degree in a science or engineering field
  • 2 or more years of full-time employment in a science or engineering industry and a letter of recommendation from the employer OR Graduate Record Exam (GRE) with a minimum score of approximately 30.
  • 3.0 undergraduate GPA
  • To apply to the program ill out a Graduate School Application online (submit a $60 non-refundable application fee). During the online application process, you will be asked to submit the following items:
  • Official Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions sent to the Graduate School (Transcripts with degrees awarded from MSU are not required).
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Narrative of goals and interest in obtaining PMSEM degree
