Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Minimum of an earned U.S. bachelor\xc2\x92s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution or the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an international institution that is officially recognized by that country in engineering, physical sciences, mathematics or a similar field.
- Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.0=A) in the last 60 hours of a student\xc2\x92s first bachelor\xc2\x92s degree program.
- Minimum of 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.0 = A) in the applicable master\xc2\x92s degree.
- If the applicant does not meet the minimum GPA requirements, the application may still be considered. In certain cases, demonstrated aptitude through professional experience or additional post baccalaureate education will be considered.
