Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, diploma or equivalent in midwifery.
Students must have or be eligible to receive Authorisation to Practice as a Registered Midwife in Australia.
Where applicants have obtained their tertiary qualifications outside of Australia and are eligible to apply for registration as a midwife in Australia but English is not their first language, they will be required to meet the English Language Requirements of the Nurses and Midwives Board prior to enrolment. They must complete four International English Language Testing System (IELTS) academic modules obtaining a minimum of 7 on each of the individual bands of reading, writing, speaking and listening.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
