Academic Requirements
A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from a university, not being a university of applied sciences, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic bachelor\xc2\x92s degree, or demonstrate to meet the requirements for such a degree
Comparable qualities in the field of knowledge, understanding and skills with those acquired upon graduating from one of the bachelor\xc2\x92s programmes in Theology from Leiden University, Religious Studies from Leiden University, World Religions from Leiden University, Islamic Studies from Leiden University or Islamic Theology from Leiden University, specifically:
- Knowledge in the field of theology, religious studies and history.
- Knowledge of the study of Christianity, Islam and/or Judaism.
- Knowledge of methodologies of either social sciences or history and/or philology.
- The ability to reflect on current debates and developments regarding religion.
- The ability to formulate problems and the skill to select the correct methodological approach as well as literature/data to analyse these problems.
- completed your education in Canada (except Quebec), USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate, or
- a Dutch VWO-diploma.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
