Academic Requirements

- Application Fee: $75 (non-refundable), submitted with your online application.
- Personal Statement: Please discuss your academic interests and goals. Include your current research interests as well as your long-range research, teaching, or other professional objectives. Reference any relevant published articles, books, research, inventions or other creative work in your discussion.
- Writing Sample: Please write one formal essay of at least 2500 words on some aspect of American or English literature.
- Resume: Optional
- Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendations required to be submitted through the online application. Two letters from academic professionals who have taught or supervised the applicant and can attest to the applicant\'s academic capability. The third letter must be from a supervisor of colleague.
- GMAT/GRE Scores: General and Advanced Literature scores required for US students, optional for International students.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
