Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The minimum requirement is a degree equivalent to Upper Second Class (2:1) Honours in engineering, physical science or mathematics.

If your first degree is from a country other than the UK, you may find the guidelines within our Country Index helpful. Please note that these guidelines indicate the College minimum. Our requirement is usually higher.

Although applicants will typically have a background in engineering or physical science, the course is potentially open to those from life sciences or medicine, provided they also have proven mathematics ability.

The College also has a minimum English language requirement for postgraduate study.
