Academic Requirements

Prospective graduate students should submit all admissions materials at least 30 days prior to the start of the semester in which they wish to begin studies.  Upon receipt of all university-required documents, the Admissions Office will forward your file to your desired academic department for an admission decision.

Required admissions materials include:

  • An admissions application completed online through the Apply Texas system.
  • Official transcripts from each college or university attended, including the accredited institution from which the applicant earned a bachelor’s degree.
  • Scores on the GRE or GMAT (for MBA applicants). Both tests are administered by the LU Career & Testing Center. Scores may not be more than five years old. Use school code 6360 for GRE.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
