Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

To apply for the Master\'s programme in Enviromental Engineering, you need a relevant Bachelor\'s degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following degrees:

  • BSc in Chemistry and Biotechnology from University of Southern Denmark
  • BEng in Chemical Engineering from University of Southern Denmark

You can also apply if you hold a similar degree within science or engineering. Based on an overall evaluation of your application, the Faculty will decide whether you are qualified for admission. The evaluation is based on the following criteria. You need a minimum score of 21 points:

  • Level and content of your degree. 1-10 points are given depending on the level and relevance of your degree.
  • Your academic level. 1-50 points are given. Emphasis is put on your grades in courses within the fields of chemistry, ecology, mathematics and physics.
  • Your motivation for admission. 1-40 points are given. The highest scores are given to applicants
  • who demonstrate a thorough knowledge about and an interest in the programme
  • who demonstrate awareness of your choice of education
  • who demonstrate awareness of how their skills match the programme

If there are more qualified applicants than study places, applicants with the highest scores are admitted first. There are 40 study places in the programme.
