Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
With reference to the regulations regarding admission to study programmes at HiOA, in addition the following apply to this programme:
The basic entry requirement is a bachelor degree in education or another bachelor degree in relevant social science disciplines. If the degree is from a non-Norwegian university, it must be based on no less than 3 years of study beyond Norwegian matriculation level and fulfill English language requirements.
The average mark for the subjects included in the vocational basis must be at the same level as C/2,7 or better in the Norwegian grading system. For applicants with both numerically and alphabetically based grades or unstipulated grades, the points conversions as set out in the Admission requirements for HiOA apply.
English proficiency
PTE Academic - Pearson Test of English Academic with a minimum overall score of 62. Please send your score report to HiOA through your Pearson account. We do not accept paper or PDF versions of PTE Academic score reports.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
