Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Prospective Students must complete the application for graduate study and submit:
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended
- Two Letters of recommendation
- A personal essay, describing the applicant\xc2\x92s interest in the program, personal goals, and any circumstances related to the applicant\xc2\x92s prior academic record that may need explanation.
Students are required to maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (B) or better to remain in the program. A degree will not be granted to any student who receives 6 credits of C.
Additional opportunities are provided for the student in the form of technical field and laboratory experiences, as well as special topic courses that might not be available on a regular basis.
