Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

In order to be admitted into the programme, it is necessary to meet the following requirements:
  1. To have completed an official degree in a University or in any higher education institution that allows students to work as a nurse and to take a Master\'s Degree.
  2. To have a t least 3 years of professional experience working as a nurse.
  3. To be proficient in English. All candidates must be able to certify at least a B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0 and at least 5.0 point in each section; TOEFL (paper-based) with a score of at least 550 and 4 points in the writing section; TOEFL (Internet-based) with a score of at least 79 points at least 17 points in each section. Candidates from agreed English speaking countries are exempt form this requirement.
  4. It is also advisable to have knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
