- [\'Whether, to what extent, and in which forms does a common and unique European culture exist and how is it related to other regional or non-European cultures?\', \'How are Europe and its cultural transformations perceived within Europe and from the outside?\', \'What is the impact of political and social processes on European culture(s) and culture(s) in Europe as well as vice versa?\', \'To form high level graduates for work in the fields of international relations in embassies, ministries, education and culture, as well as other international settings such as European and international organisations, universities, firms and work for projects at the local, regional, national and European levels.\', \'To develop research and analysis of the immediate and recent past, and of present and possible future trends in the field of EU relations and specific world areas, particularly in the fields of education and culture.\', \'To develop further links with embassies and ministries of education in EU and third countries in order to improve the language of common understanding and co-operation.\', \'To share existing tools and models of good practice in the EU and other countries, in order to establish a common base of knowledge and to further develop research.\', \'To concurrently develop "prior learning practices" that are embedded in the length of the studies, as well as the growing need for flexibility.\']

Academic Requirements
The Euroculture Programme (120 ECTS) is open to students from all over the world who have successfully completed a university BA programme in the fields of European Studies, History, Theology, Philology, Literature, Philosophy, International Relations, Political Studies, Law, Cultural Studies, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology.
The language of instruction is English.
All courses, the Intensive Programme and the MA thesis are in English, and therefore a fluent knowledge of the language is necessary. Language proficiency should be certified. See required documents.
Knowledge of other foreign languages is useful.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
