Program Curriculum
- An economics or business, social, engineering or natural sciences degree, or an equivalent German “Diplom” or bachelor’s degree with at least 210 ECTS Credit Points. Including at least 15 credit points acquired in the basic principles of quantitative methodology (mathematics, statistics, business information systems). However, if these methodological skills are lacking, they can – and must – be demonstrated within one year of commencing the degree programme, at the latest.
- Final grade at least 2.5 (“good”).
- Proof of proficiency in English at minimum level B2 (university entrance qualification from a German grammar school, vocational or technical college; TOEFL Certificate scoring at least 75.0 points; or IELTS Certificate scoring at least 5.5 points).
Graduates from a degree programme with at least 50% of the Credit Points earned from modules conducted in English are deemed to have proved this level of proficiency. - Proof of German proficiency at least level B1 within the first year of study.
Graduates from a degree programme with at least 30% of the Credit Points earned from modules conducted in German are deemed to have proved this level of proficiency. Proof is also accepted in the form of a general university entrance certificate awarded by a German grammar school or a vocational or specialised secondary school. - Curriculum vitae (bullet-point format).
- A copy of the first degree certificate pursuant to § 4 para. 1 no. 1 of the Programme and Examination Regulations, with a German translation if necessary.
- An essay (approx. 2,000 characters) in English engaging with a scientific question closely related to sustainable business or sustainable finance.

Academic Requirements
As the seminars are conducted in English, participants will need a good level of proficiency in the English language. Applicants for the MBA course must have successfully completed a degree-level course of study at a university or equivalent institute of higher education, e. g. polytechnic, Fachhochschule or Berufsakademie (only in Baden-W\xc3\xbcrttemberg), and require a minimum of two years employment.
