Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

In order to be admitted\nto the selection, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

1) a bachelor’s or\nhigher degree awarded in Italy or other qualification recognised as equivalent\nawarded abroad[1]; undergraduate\ncandidates are also accepted providing that they will obtain their bachelor’s\ndegree:

  • before 31 July 2017 for non-EU citizens living abroad;
  • before 31 October 2017 for Italian and EU-citizens or those treated as\nsuch;

2) good knowledge of the\nEnglish language, at least B2 level of the Common European Framework of\nReference for Languages attested as follows: English Language qualification –\nawarded no earlier than March 2015 – from among the following: IELTS no skill\nlower than 5.5, TOEFL internet-based test (or equivalent TOEFL paper-based or\ncomputer-based tests) no skill lower than 21. 

Candidates who have gained their\ndegree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from a university where tuition is entirely in\nEnglish in an EU country or in Australia, Canada, Japan, Norway, New Zealand,\nRussia, the USA, South Africa or Switzerland, are not required to submit an\nEnglish Language certificate;

3) basic knowledge of a\nsecond foreign language, other than Italian, from among the following: Arabic,\nChinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German;

4) a personal background with suitable professional vocational and\nacademic experience appropriate to the interdisciplinary nature of the degree\ncourse.
