Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

If you wish to apply for the master studies program ECUE, you need to fulfil the following requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor’s studies of at least six semesters (minimum of 180 Credit Points) in humanities, cultural, social or economic sciences at a German university
  • Or a foreign Academic degree (B.A. or equivalent) in humanities, cultural, social or economic sciences (in this case the equivalence of your degree will be examined by the examination board ECUE)
  • NEW since 2016: submission of an essay
  • Good to excellent final grade (at least 1.9 referred to the German grading system)
  • German and English language skills (see language prerequisites)

English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
