Program Curriculum
Course Structure
- First semester (September-March, 30 ECTS) is spent in Joensuu. Joensuu offers classes on Experimental Linguistics, Psycho-/Neurolinguistics and Language Development in Autism.
- Second semester (April-September, 30 ECTS), students are in Potsdam. Classes will be on Neurological rehabilitation, Methods/Statistics, Language Development, Language Processing, Language Assessment and Topics in Neurolinguistics. Another focus is on Scientific Writing.
- Third semester (October-February, 30 ECTS) takes students to Groningen. Groningen has a focus on Clinical Aphasiology, Developmental Language Disorders and Developmental Dyslexia. Another focus is on Brain imaging and Language.
- The fourth semester (March-August, 30 ECTS) is spent on thesis work at the institution of the first supervisor.
