Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
You should have the equivalent or above of a 2:2 or above UK bachelors honours degree in Fine Art or a related subject. If you have other professional qualifications or industry experience we will consider your application on an individual basis.
Portfolio
You must supply evidence of recent work in the form of a digital/portfolio together with a statement about past and proposed work. International Students
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent when you start the course is essential. English Language tuition, delivered by our British Council accreditedCentre for English Language Learning, is available both before and throughout the course if you need it.
