Course overview
Learn about the diagnosis, management and treatment of missing or worn teeth. Undergo training in fixed, removable and implant-supported prostheses. Have the option to undertake more extensive treatment plans with further experience in restorative dentistry.

Admission Requirements
Entry requirements
We require a primary dental qualification from a recognised institution. You should also have at least two years' recent experience in general professional practice.
English language
International students must demonstrate English proficiency through a secure and approved testing system. We ask for English language proof if you are from non-majority English speaking countries (a list of majority English speaking countries, as defined by the UK Home Office, can be found here ). Specifically, we require a minimum of: Students whose first language is not English require one of the following: IELTS: 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in all components) See further information about requirements for your country . Important : Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements as noted above, at the time of application, will not be considered. Overseas candidates who hold a degree from a country officially recognised as majority English-speaking are not required to provide proof of English certification.
English language test validity
Some English Language test results are only valid for two years. Your English Language test report must be valid on the start date of the course.

For entry in the academic year beginning September 2026, the tuition fees are as follows: MSc (full-time) UK students (per annum): £28,400 International, including EU, students (per annum): £62,500
The fees quoted above are fully inclusive of tuition, administration and computational costs. Fees for entry are subject to yearly review. The University reserves the right to increase your tuition fee by up to 7% each year for courses lasting more than one year, including to reflect rising costs associated with delivering our educational and wider student experience. International student CAS deposit Self-funded international applicants are required to pay a deposit of £2500 towards their tuition fees before a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) is issued. All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme. Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the programme in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to you at the point of application.
