Entry Requirements
- 2:1 degree in English literature or language or its equivalent.
- You will be asked to provide a personal statement (up to 500 words) as part of your application, explaining why you have chosen this course.
- You may also be asked to submit one or more recent samples of your critical writing: ideally, essays or papers that you submitted for your undergraduate course.
- We recommend that you apply for this course by mid-summer at the latest.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.
