Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
The Weatherhead admissions team is committed to choosing students with a range of educational, professional, and life experiences. Our community recognizes the value of diverse perspectives and encourages excellence. With this as our guiding recruitment philosophy, we create an atmosphere where the classroom experience is enriched through dialogues and teamwork.
The admissions process begins when you submit your online application. This allows our team to learn more details about your educational and work background. Your essays should describe your interests and goals and show how the Weatherhead Global MBA program fits into that picture. We look for applicants who are interested and interesting.
Our review process is online, so you can add supporting documents to an application at any time. You cannot edit any information that you have entered in your online profile form once you have hit submit, but you can add supporting documents after submitting. When your required documents have been uploaded, you may receive an invitation to interview.
Interviews are by invitation only. The Weatherhead admissions team reserves the right to invite applicants to interview when they have uploaded transcripts to their online profile. However, an offer for admission to the Global MBA program cannot be extended without all required documents in hand. Any application that remains incomplete at the Round 3 deadline will be denied.
Application RequirementsWhen reviewing your profile for admission consideration, the Weatherhead admissions team requires the following:
- Submitted online application
- Essays
- Current resume
- Unofficial transcripts
- GMAT or GRE score report
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (for applicants whose native language is not English)
- Letters of recommendation
- $100 application fee
Each supporting document must be uploaded to your online application for admission consideration. Some applicants require time to take the GMAT or GRE. Considering this, our team may interview applicants who have not yet taken either test (or who plan to retake a test for a higher score) but whose undergraduate transcripts and work history demonstrate high performance. Please note: An offer for admission cannot be extended with an incomplete application package. Weatherhead does not offer conditional admission under any circumstances. We reserve the right to deny admission if an application remains incomplete by the Round 3 deadline.
Prospective students will also need a valid and active passport. If admitted to this program, you will also need to apply for a visa to study in China and India. This will require additional application steps with our partners. However, our team will help you through this process.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
