Academic Requirements

For this master\'s programme selection takes place on the basis of your quality and suitability. For this your motivation, prior qualifications and your (professional) experience are important.

All applicants should meet the general requirements:

  • write a letter of motivation,
  • submit a letter of recommendation,
  • demonstrate proficiency in English.
Graduates from selected relevant university bachelor’s programmes
You are eligible for admission to the master’s programme Globalisation and Law if you have a Dutch university bachelor’s degree in: European Law School, Dutch Law, or Tax law. You are also eligible for admission if you have a non-Dutch university bachelor’s degree in Law.
Graduates from another bachelor’s programme
Excellent students with a university of applied sciences degree (e.g. HBO/ Hochschule), or an academic BA or BSc bachelor in a field that does not grant direct admission into this programme, have to pass the Entrance exam in Globalisation and Law. For these candidates a Major in Law is recommended.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
