Academic Requirements

The Master\xc2\x92s programme East European Studies is open for application to students with a Bachelor\xc2\x92s diploma from the UvA, or a recognised equivalent from another accredited university in:

  • European Studies

The programme is also open for enrolment to students with a related (university) Bachelor\xc2\x92s diploma in the:

  • Humanities
  • Social Sciences

*\xc2\xa0In these cases students should have demonstrable knowledge of Eastern Europe and/or Russia. This requirement is met with the UvA minor programme East European Studies or with at least 30 ECTS in (East) European history, politics or culture.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
