Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The common regulations for admission and registration in a Masters Degree in the University of Nairobi and the School of Economics shall apply.

In addition, the following shall be eligible for admission for the Masters programme.

  • Holders of Bachelors degree at Upper Second Class honours in economics, health sciences or other related disciplines from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate.
  • Holders of Bachelors degree at lower second class from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate, with at least two years relevant post qualification working experience.
  • Holders of a pass degree and a relevant postgraduate Diploma from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate.
  • Holders of a pass degree from the University of Nairobi or other institutions recognized by Senate, with at least five years relevant post qualification working experience.
