Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
NEOMED recommends that each Pharmacy Administration\xc2\xa0applicant:
- Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree,\xc2\xa0or\xc2\xa0a Pharm.D. or\xc2\xa0bachelor\xc2\x92s degree for M.S. program only
- Have a status as a licensed pharmacist or eliigiblity for licensure
- Have an overall GPA of at least 3.0\xc2\xa0in a college of pharmacy
- Have at least a 2.75 GPA for undergraduate coursework
- At least three years of practice experience in health-system pharmacy\xc2\xa0(for M.S. degree program)
- Acceptance into the Pharmacy Administration Residency through the ASHP Match Program at the\xc2\xa0Cleveland Clinic\xc2\xa0or\xc2\xa0Akron General Medical Center\xc2\xa0(for M.S. degree/residency program)
