The GRE general test is required of all applicants, with the exception of the following programs:
- Hispanic Languages and Literature - MA and PhD
- MFA in Writing and Literature
- Music Performance - MM and DMA
- European Languages, Literatures, and Cultures
- Graduate Certificate in Teaching Writing
- MFA in Theatre (@ Southampton)
- MFA in Studio Art
- MS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology
- MS in Biomedical Science - Only these tracks listed below: 1) Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology 2) Neuroscience
- MA Psychology, 1 year program
- Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Science
- MA in Mathematics, Secondary Teacher Option
IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with no subsection recommended to be below 6
TOEFL:- 85 for Masters level
- 90 for admission to a doctoral program and to be eligible for consideration for TA/GA support
