Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Admission requirements: GRE and bachelor\xc2\x92s degree. While 24 credits of history are usually required, majors in related fields may be admitted with permission of the director of graduate studies and the department chair. For the archaeology and anthropology option, credits in anthropology, archaeology, art history, and related fields may be accepted with permission of the director of graduate studies, in consultation with graduate faculty from the Departments of History, Art, and Sociology and Anthropology.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
