- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores
- TOEFL scores are required if you are an international applicant, unless English is your first language or you have completed a degree at an American university.
The History Department does not accept external applications for a terminal master\xc2\x92s degree.\xc2\xa0The M.A. is usually earned en route to the Ph.D.\xc2\xa0It is also available to Vanderbilt undergraduates who enroll in the 4+1 program in history.\xc2\xa0
