Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Upper Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Applicants will be expected to have a good undergraduate honours degree at 2:1 (or international equivalent) level, although each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students will be expected to submit an outline proposal for their research project with their application.
Language requirements
To follow your chosen programme successfully, you will need to be fluent in written and spoken English. These are the qualifications in English regarded by the University of Roehampton as an acceptable minimum level of competence:
GCSE grade C.
Cambridge Proficiency Certificate grade C.
Cambridge Advanced Certificate grade C (with no less than \xc2\x91weak\xc2\x92 in any band).
Level 2 Functional Skills (English) with a pass grade.
Key Skills Level 2 in Communication with a pass grade.
LCCIEB EFB or EFC with a second grade.
NEAB UETESOL with a pass grade.
