Master’s specialisation in Human Biology

If you want to follow this specialisation, you have to be admitted to the Master’s in Medical Biology or Molecular Life Sciences. The Examination Board will consider whether or not you have met the requirements that apply for admission to the Master\'s programme of your choice.

Admission requirements for students with a Dutch university Bachelor\'s diploma

In order to get admission to the Master’s in Medical Biology or Molecular Life Sciences, you’ll need a completed Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields of science:

  • Medical Biology
  • Molecular Life Sciences
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Biology, with a minor in Medical Biology, Neurobiology or Medicine
  • ...or equivalent
Admission requirements for students with a Bachelor’s degree from a Dutch University College or University of Applied Sciences (HBO)

It’s possible to start with this Master’s specialisation after a completed HBO Bachelor’s degree, with a relevant minor or pre-Master’s. The most relevant Bachelor’s degrees is:

  • Laboratory assistant training (all specialisations)
