- Basic information on micro- and macro economy, regional and settlement studies as well as environmental economic, geographic and social studies;
- Problem solving techniques to be applied as solutions to their tasks;
- Criteria and conditions of adapting the acquired knowledge in practice;
- Tools of orientation in the body of professional literature;
- Information and methods required to recognise and analyse practical problems occurring in the environment-conscious management of economic and regional development.

Description of selection and entrance examination process
Entrance examination process: The University check the documents of the applicants, and later there is a skype interview.
The interview starts with a small chat to check the level of the language knowledge of the applicant. The applicant have to answer for some questions from his/her previous studies. This is the \xc2\x84professional knowledge\xc2\x94 part. This is important to check the level of the knowledge and if there is a need for extra courses we can reccommend to them.\xc2\xa0
