Course Structure
- Year one incorporates, Business Research Analysis, Financial Database Systems Management, Human Resource Management in Context, Development Self as an HR leader, Enhancing Employability and Career Development, and the Post Graduate Induction.
- Year two incorporates, Total Reward, Masters Dissertation, Managing Employee Engagement, Managing and Developing Talent, Dissertation Preperation and Research Methods. There are then a selection of optional modules to choose from.

Academic Requirements
Standard Entry
The normal entry requirement is one of the following- An honours or CNAA degree
- Newcastle Business School Diploma in Management Development (Newcastle Business School offers a one- year part-time Diploma in Management Development designed to equip non- graduate applicants for the programme)
- An equivalent professional qualification with two and half years managerial/supervisory experience
- Early application is advised
- Graduate members of the CIPD may progress directly to the top-up Masters degree
Plus one of the following
Other QAA-recognised access programme- Non-graduate applications
- A British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 5.5
- Pearson Academic score of 62 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 51
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
