Academic Requirements
Admission Requirements:
Applicants should have a good first degree (2:1 or equivalent) in a social sciences subject. Previous tuition in management subjects is desirable but not essential.
Applications will also be considered from candidates with a good 2:2 degree (or equivalent) and at least two years relevant work experience.
For students whose first language is not English, we normally require evidence of English language ability.
English Requirements:
Applicants for whom English is not their first language should provide evidence of English language competence.
Acceptable qualifications for Managment Master programmes are: IELTS: with overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in other components. TOEFL: 87, with a minimum of 23 in Writing and a minimum of 21 in all other components.
Applicants with an IELTS overall result of 6.0 and a 6.0 in the writing part of the test can take the University\xc2\x92s Pre-Masters English Language programme. This programme provides spoken and written skills development in specific subject areas, as well as preparation for Postgraduate level study in a UK environment.
