Academic Requirements
Students may begin study in the Master of Fine Arts in Communication Design program in the Fall semester only.
Completed applications should be received no later than March 15. Applications received after March 15 will be considered only if space is available.
Applicants for scholarships must apply by March 15.
Applicants should complete and submit the online application form through the SACI web site, including a $70 non-refundable processing fee. If you prefer to pay by check or money order, you are requested to contact the SACI New York office before submitting your application.
In addition, the following materials are required:
- Short essay describing the applicant\xc2\x92s area of specialization, objectives, and reasons for wishing to enter the program
- One set of official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- Three letters of recommendation from instructors or other artists familiar with the applicant\xc2\x92s work. You can download the Letter of Recommendation Form.
- Curriculum vitae (required of those who have been out of school for 3 or more years)
- Electronically submitted portfolio
English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
