Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Candidates should submit a formal application consisting of the following documents:

  • The application form completely filled in and duly signed.
  • Copies of all relevant diplomas and transcripts. Copies of diplomas and transcripts do not have to be certified. However, if you submit uncertified copies you must bring the originals of all submitted documents with you to Prague, so we can confirm their authenticity.
  • Proof of English language proficiency. All applicants, except for native speakers and applicants who hold a degree, the course of which was taught in English, must certify their proficiency in English of a minimum level B2 by including details of any tests of the English language they have taken (e.g. during their previous degree studies), by an internationally recognized language diploma (TOEFL, IELTS) or a certificate from any other official language institute.
  • Short academic curriculum vitae detailing all relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Letter of motivation explaining your interest in the Master\xc2\xb4s programme.
  • References or letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic scholar). The letters of recommendation have to be written specifically for the purpose of applying for the Master\xc2\xb4s programme. They must include the contact details of the referees and clearly state the position they hold at their respective institutions.

Diplomas, transcripts, letters of recommendation and other documents whose original language is not English, French, German, Czech or Slovak have to be accompanied by a certified translation into English. Only complete applications will be considered. Documents will not be returned. Thank you for your understanding. Personal data will be used exclusively for organizing the course\xc2\xb4s enrolments.

The early admissions deadline for academic year 2017/18 is 28th February 2017. The early admissions deadline is strongly recommended for students from non-EU or non-EFTA countries who will need a student visa in order to study in the Czech Republic.

The regular deadline for academic year 2017/18 is 30th April 2017. The application fee is 530 CZK (approximately 20 EUR).

There will be no entrance examinations. Applicants\' materials will be assessed by an admissions committee in March/May respectively. Successful applicants will be informed at the beginning of April/June respectively, so they can apply for their student visa.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
