Academic Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
In order for a student application to be taken into consideration, the candidate must comply with the minimum requirements with regard to administrative prerequisites, academic prerequisites and \xc2\xa0language prerequisites.
Administrative prerequisites are:
- \xc2\xa0Compliance with the application calendar and deadlines;
- \xc2\xa0Submission of a complete set of required application documents in English, or with a certified English translation.
- Application to no more than 3 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master\xc2\x92s Degree programs per selection year\xc2\xa0
\xc2\xa0Academic prerequisites are:
Completed Bachelor of Science in psychology or another degree in psychology recognized by the EU as a 1st or 2nd cycle degree, equivalent to at least 180 ECTS. This prerequisite must be fulfilled at the time of administrative enrollment. Applications from students of the last year of Bachelor or equivalent study programs will be accepted conditionally.
\xc2\xa0Language prerequisites are:
\xc2\xa0Proficiency in written and spoken English at a B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECR), with preference given to those with a C1 level or above. Certificates should be no more than 2 years old. The list of accepted certificates are:
- COE/ALTE (Council of Europe/Association of Language Testers in Europe) \xc2\x96\xc2\xa0B2
- IELTS (Academic) with an overall score of 6.0 \xc2\x96 no less than 5.5 on each section
- TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) with an overall score of 78\xc2\xa0\xc2\x96 no less than 18 on each section
- TOEFL CBT (computer-based test) with an overall score of 210 \xc2\x96 no less than 18 on each section
- TOEFL PBT (paper-based test) with an overall score of 550 \xc2\x96 no less than 45\xc2\xa0on each section
- TOEIC \xc2\xa0with an overall score of 800\xc2\xa0\xc2\x96 no less than a 57 on each section
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English \xc2\x96 FCE\xc2\xa0(First Certificate in\xc2\xa0English), grade A or B\xc2\xa0
- A certificate proving attendance in at least 1 year of higher education completed entirely in English
If, for logistic reasons, an official certificate is not available at the time of application, sufficiently convincing proof of English proficiency may be considered\xc2\xa0at the discretion of the admission committee. In the case that such an application is ranked within those accepted for admission, the acceptance of this application may be considered provisional until proof of English proficiency is provided.
The language proficiency certificate requirement is waived for\xc2\xa0Native English language speakers or those who completed their higher\xc2\xa0education in any one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
