Academic Requirements
Applications are welcome from candidates with a good UK honours degree in any subject, or an equivalent international, academic or professional qualification. However, candidates will be considered on their merits, as will people with non-traditional qualifications. Some teaching experience is desirable, but not essential provided applicants can show evidence of sustained interest in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Please note \xc2\x96 If English is not your first language (and your degree was not from a majority English Speaking Country as defined by the UKVI) we also require: IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each component, or equivalent English Language qualification accepted by the University. Please note this is a requirement that differs from the University standard.
