- an undergraduate degree (e.g. bachelor) which is considered at least comparable to a UK second class honours degree, from an institution acceptable to the University, in one of the following scientific subjects: biology, medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary science or pharmacy; or
- a scientific degree in a subject not listed above which in the opinion of the University included suitable preliminary training and is considered at least comparable to a UK second class honours degree, from an institution acceptable to the University.
